Golden Harvest Agronomist At Syngenta Seeds

Duties:
Evaluate experimental trials to aid in training the sales force on new product launches
Provide marketing input into product advancements
Provide input on production planning and portfolio
Sharpen competitive intelligence on pricing and products
Support product-based campaign development in the district
Promote Syngenta products at meetings, field days, and one-on-ones
Support and coordinate plot locations and entries in the assigned area
Analyze and interpret data for promotional use and act as the pivot point for Syngenta's story amplification in local areas

Candidate Profile
- B.S. in Agronomy or related Agricultural field
- 2+ years of experience in Agronomy or Sales with a strong technical background or 2+ years of experience in a Research and Development role, with a strong understanding of Sales and Commercial aspects
- Deep knowledge of the seed industry
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
Preferred Requirements
- Basic understanding of marketing principles and techniques
- Understanding of statistical principles and data analysis
- Significant technical knowledge of product portfolio, product pipeline and product value propositions.
- Agronomic theory – knowledge of farming best practices, seed technologies, crop protection
- Understanding of segmentation strategy and priorities
- Demonstrated experience in guidance and direct involvement in service call resolution
